Dragon Gate’s arena and museum will remain open throughout the autumn
Following a successful summer, Dragon Gate is extending the season. The arena and museum will remain open every day until October 31, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the unique landmark throughout the autumn.

Where is Dragon Gate located?
Dragon Gate is located in Älvkarleby, right next to the E4 highway between Gävle and Uppsala. The site is easily accessible by both car and public transport.
Is it open now?
The area outside the hotel is open. Here you’ll find Joey’s Gelato, recently opened with handmade gelato produced on site. We are currently working hard behind the walls to rebuild for a more sustainable future.
When will the hotel open?
We are working hard to get the hotel up and running, with the goal of opening by the end of 2026. An important milestone has already been reached with the construction of a new heating system that will supply the entire Dragon Gate area. All necessary permits for operating the hotel are in place.
